If I want to do the splits, should I try stretching for a few days or just have my legs popped?

And if you’ve had yours popped, on a scale from 1 to 10 how bad did it hurt? 10 being the worst.

stretch!! definitely.

your muscles are amazing, amazing things.

i could not do a split at all, then i started taking a dance class and stretching every day and in a month i got really, really close to being able to do one, and last time I took gymnastics, i was about seven (just to show you how long its been since i’ve done anything remotely like that)

you can do it!!

no sense in hurting yourself on purpose when you have an opportunity to take your time, condition yourself and improve your patience.
