Stretching for maximum flexibility (for martial arts)…?

by admin on November 22, 2009

1. which stretches are the best for maximum flexibility (especially in the legs)?

2. Does stretching to the point of pain increase flexibility or damage the muscle?

3. Is it possible to lift weights regularly and still increase flexibility?

1. touching your toes, splits (if you can), your legs spread as wide as you can then make your head touch the floor without bending your knees etc. hold them for 30 seconds

2.it increases flexibility. but, if you hold them too long you might pull a muscle which really hurts.

3. yes.
