Advice on stretching with a previous injury?

I pulled my left inner thigh muscle 3 years ago and have had a hard time stretching and doing the splits ever since. Any tips to help me stretch? I really need my flexibility back. I know how to warm up, I used to dance and do martial arts. I want to dance again. Any advice?

First, you need to strengthen that muscle again. It’s going to hurt but you really need to push yourself. Start riding a bike and go running even some leg lifts. Take it slow at first and it will eventually get better.
