How do you get rid of leg cramps when stretching doesn’t seem to work?

by admin on November 23, 2009

Okay, getting rid of leg cramps takes longer than a few minutes. if there is one that won’t go away, keep stretching and massaging at any chance you get. eat potassium rich foods and drink water, but not too much or you’ll drown your body.
if the cramps are periodical, stretch and massage as often as possible and eat potassium and hydrate yourself, but one factor causing the cramps may be the way you sleep, or sit/stand. You need to stretch before you go to bed and when you wake up. Change the position of your legs while you sleep. if you need to, set an alarm for the middle of the night so that you can change your position.
If your cramps continue, look for tips from other Yahoo! Answers or consult a physician. There might be a problem with something in your muscles or blood or something else.
